Academic Assessment Services (AAS), a sub-brand of Janison, has been a trusted provider of K-12 assessment programs since 1974. AAS helps schools evaluate and enhance their educational performance through expertly managed assessment programs.
As part of the rebranding project, I collaborated with the marketing team to develop a cohesive brand identity. I refined and expanded the initial concepts to complete the branding, ensuring it was functional and consistent across all platforms. My work included designing the website, creating comprehensive brand guidelines, operational documents, marketing materials such as brochures, and developing a full suite of templates to ensure consistency across all business communications.

Brand identity & guidelines
AAS’s brand identity prioritises clarity and professionalism, with a cohesive system of logo, graphic device, colours, and typography. I developed the brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials, from marketing assets to operational documents. The logo seamlessly integrates with Janison sub-brands in a structured lockup, maintaining visual alignment across ICAS, Reach, QATs, and RiSE+.









Marketing & print materials
AAS’s marketing materials showcased its refreshed branding while highlighting its full range of services. The marketing brochure introduced the new brand identity and informed both potential and existing client schools about available offerings. The WA Scholarships advertisement targeted parents, encouraging applications for scholarship opportunities at AAS client schools in Western Australia.
Operational & corporate collateral
AAS’s operational and corporate materials were designed to maintain consistency and professionalism across all communications. This includes business cards, letterheads, and folders, as well as operational covers for each AAS subsection. To support internal and external communications, branded Word document templates and PowerPoint presentations were also developed, ensuring a cohesive and polished presentation across all formats.
Digital design
AAS’s digital presence was designed to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience. The website design process began with Figma modules, refining the layout and functionality before implementation. The final live website brings AAS’s brand identity to life, effectively communicating its services and resources to schools and stakeholders.
